What is FTC?
The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) allows students in grades 7-12 to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and program robots to compete against each other in an alliance format. These robots are constructed from reusable materials, powered by Android technology, and can be programmed using various levels of Java-based coding. FTC is one of three FIRST programs, which together give students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade valuable learning opportunities. About Our Team
We are team 9880 Aftershock from Edmonds Heights K-12 in Edmonds, Washington. This was our second year participating in FTC. Last year, we revived 9880 after it had been inactive for nine years. Many of us are new to FTC. This year, we focused on gaining new engineering skills, improving from last year, and helping others join FIRST.
